Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Daly City, CA. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $31.00 per hour and a schedule that includes weekday evenings and weekend shifts.

You will perform security duties, vehicle patrols, access control, incident response, and reporting while ensuring a safe and professional presence on-site. Qualifications include minimum 2 years of security experience and a valid driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent;

• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and the public by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports while maintaining professional conduct.

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control issues according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
