• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Assist with screening and directing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Distribution Center in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shifts

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and driver access, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Assist with the screening and direction of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
