Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report concerns.
• Direct authorized vehicles and personnel to facilitate deliveries and shipments according to site procedures.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of deliveries and outbound shipments by directing authorized vehicles and personnel in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
