Allied Universal in Newark, DE is seeking a Security Officer in a full-time Dispatch Driver Scheduling role. You will coordinate calls, monitor access, and support secure operations at a financial institution location, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clear dispatch logs.

A valid driver’s license and minimum security experience or college degree are required. This position includes night shifts and requires compliance with local laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Monitor communication systems, alarm activity, and site operations, documenting incidents and maintaining dispatch logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Driver Scheduling in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access control activity and incoming information, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear documentation, and help foster a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
