Job summary

Allied Universal in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Security Officer – Digital Access Specialist to protect residents and visitors and support access control using computer or tablet systems.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. You will monitor access points, patrol the property, and document incidents for site management.

Qualifications

Security Officer Full Time Digital Access Specialist

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Access Specialist in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will welcome residents and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and use computer or tablet systems to support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
