Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access to the financial institution location, verify visitor and vendor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, and emergency responders and report security concerns to site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Security in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the financial institution location, verify visitor and vendor credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while reporting security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
