• Conduct patrols of assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and ensure security.
• Document observations and incidents in accordance with established procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Access Operations in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned technology, media, and telecommunications locations, including building perimeters, access points, and restricted areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting observations, incidents, and shifts in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
