Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Requests in Boise, ID. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, successful background check and drug screening, and licensing where required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Requests in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors entering the technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
