As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Validation in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a technology-focused construction location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a technology-focused construction location, verify authorization credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned construction areas, access points, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access, hazards, and/or unusual activity.
• Support orderly access for deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel while documenting relevant security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
