Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background investigation and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, deliveries, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records and manage access credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, methodical manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, perimeters, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.

• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused construction location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and retrieve access credentials as directed; and report access discrepancies or unauthorized-entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, perimeter locations, construction work zones, and parking areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
