Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required as per Allied Universal policy.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in line with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management staff while enforcing access control procedures.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, managing sign-in, issuing temporary access, and keeping records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Observe entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and other locations to deter unauthorized access and report issues.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations, reporting maintenance or security concerns.

Pay Rate: $23.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access control policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in procedures, issuing temporary access credentials, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the property perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
