Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with access control and badge issuance is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and follow escalation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, issue visitor and contractor access materials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to help support orderly movement through gates, receiving areas, loading docks, and other designated facility locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Administration in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor site access to support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
