Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Credential Enrollment in Boise, ID. You will safeguard clients, manage visitor entry, issue badges, and support access procedures while delivering outstanding customer service.

Position type: Full Time; Pay rate: $19.00 per hour; Schedule includes night shifts Sunday through Saturday. Allied Universal offers training, career growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors entering or departing the location.
• Maintain visitor and contractor entry records, issue temporary credentials as authorized, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow established site reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, construction areas, offices, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
