• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue access documents, and maintain records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries; communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeters; adapt to site variation.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access‑control records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; communicate access concerns or unauthorized‑entry attempts to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
