Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time TWIC credentialing role in Corpus Christi, TX. You will manage entry control, verify credentials, and support a secure environment at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The position requires a TSA TWIC, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma. You will participate in patrols, incident response, and maintain access records, with a schedule that covers day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a TSA-issued TWIC credential.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at access-control points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue access documentation, and maintain records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel per site procedures and coordinate with site representatives.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns per procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and report unusual conditions or violations.

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credentialing in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, coordinating with authorized site representatives when access questions arise.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
