Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Access Compliance Security Officer in Point Comfort, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support security operations at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Qualifications

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before entry or directing individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor access points, gates, and traffic; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-related records.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures and escalate as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating matters as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
