Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Colorado Springs, CO. You will conduct unarmed patrols at aerospace and defense locations, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.

This driving position requires a valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
