Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol Driver in Cary, NC. You will provide professional customer service while conducting bike patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns on a government school campus.

The role requires a valid driver's license and ability to ride a bike; you will document incidents and coordinate with site contacts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate school personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to support an orderly learning environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol Driver in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government school location. You will conduct routine foot, bike, and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach to a role where people come first.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
