Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Control vehicle access to automotive facilities, directing drivers and confirming authorization.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will manage visitor and employee access, issue and verify badges, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control vehicle access to automotive facilities, including directing delivery drivers and confirming authorization for inbound and outbound traffic.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly report concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
