You will manage access points, verify credentials, support badge-related activities, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, access control systems, visitor logs, and vehicle activity; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
