Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and credentialed access to help support authorized entry to a technology, media, and telecommunications-related location.
• Verify visitor, vendor, and contractor credentials; issue and collect access badges and/or visitor passes in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
