Job summary

Allied Universal in Augusta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Badge Access to protect clients at an industrial site. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, perform patrols, and support a welcoming, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, authorize access according to site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and logs.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
