Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Timein Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a leading automotive location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use clear communication and sound judgment to help deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to automotive facility buildings, restricted areas, vehicle lots, and other designated locations by verifying credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain accurate visitor and contractor records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, parking areas, vehicle storage locations, and perimeter access points, and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
