Qualifications

• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, transit yards, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following post orders and requirements.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including firearms, and complete accurate activity and shift reports.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Incident Response in Queens, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic public transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
