Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Protective Readiness at our Charlotte, NC site. As part of an armed patrol at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and preparing incident reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures, maintaining awareness of personnel and vehicle activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
