Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• 1+ years of security‑related experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation as required.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; promptly communicate observations and relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain controlled entry to restricted areas.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 1+ years of security‑related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
