Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol CPR Certified in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team with a caring, people-first culture. An armed guard card or license is required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
