• Respond to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site personnel and public emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, including observations and actions taken.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Access Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a critical utilities location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This role calls for strong communication and customer service while working collaboratively with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
