Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Chicago, IL. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to alarms, and maintain a professional presence at the property to deter incidents and protect clients.

This role requires excellent customer service, adherence to site procedures, and clear reporting. The schedule is Thu-Sun 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with a pay rate of $19.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
