Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Chicago, IL to safeguard clients across industries. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time role requires minimum age 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred guard card/license.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or violations.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service while reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
