The role offers flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform, requires a valid driver’s license, and involves unarmed patrol duties, customer service, and collaboration with a proactive team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing site by performing security procedures and enforcing site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, documented manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking locations, exterior grounds, and entry points to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel and emergency responders when needed.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm systems, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking locations, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
