Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor a commercial real estate site, perform routine patrols, supervise access points, and respond to alarms calmly while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Shifts run DayTime with a steady schedule; you will document activities, complete incident reports, and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet on shift.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access activity, verify authorization, and report issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with appropriate responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
