Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Phoenix, AZ. You will protect clients across industries, perform patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. You will join a team guided by agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Background history considered per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
