Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) in Bennettsville, SC. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring access points, and delivering customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

You will work a part-time schedule with day and night shifts and have the opportunity to claim additional shifts through our platform. Candidates should have prior customer service experience, access control familiarity, and be at least 21 years old with a high school

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
