As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Access in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm-response activities. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service while using clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM


• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM


• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office, technology, production, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.


• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with established procedures; provide directions and assistance as needed.


• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
