As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security-related operations through attentive observation and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access materials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries and departures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
