Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in New Hill, NC. You will safeguard clients across industries by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor records at a logistics site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and authorization, and control access per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and urgent situations calmly and document observations for site contacts or emergency services.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Assist in the orderly movement of people and vehicles by communicating professionally and completing required reports.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, drivers, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $17.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 12:30 AM - 09:00 AM
• Fri: 12:30 AM - 09:00 AM
• Sat: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles at the location by communicating professionally, following access-control protocols, and completing required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
