Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Charlotte, NC to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution. You will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and access records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic, report irregularities, and deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records.


• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic in accordance with site procedures, report irregularities, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
