Qualifications

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Maintain logs and reports, communicating professionally with site personnel.

As a Security Officer Entry Control in New Hill, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and assist with visitor and employee inquiries. Through visible presence, clear communication, and routine security-related checks, you will help to deter incidents while supporting smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.23 / Hour

• Thur 12:30 AM - 09:00 AM
• Fri 12:30 AM - 09:00 AM
• Sat 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
