• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access records.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and support the protection of shipments, vehicles, facilities, and property by following established entry, exit, and screening procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
