Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution site, following security procedures.
• Perform armed security duties in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, and site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns, coordinating with contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of construction areas, facilities, access points, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor location access, verify authorized personnel, document observations, and report security concerns.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution construction location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Perform armed security-related duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of construction areas, temporary facilities, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and deliveries, document observations and incidents, and report security-related concerns through required channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
