Allied Universal in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Validation to safeguard clients across automotive locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security concerns with professionalism.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and work as part of a caring team that values integrity.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate with designated personnel regarding deliveries and pickups, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
