Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of grounds, parking areas, and perimeters; report issues.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while deterring unauthorized access and following reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Reporting in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
