Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Management Patrol in De Soto, Kansas. You will monitor and secure client sites, control access, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, documenting activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining visitor records. This role requires a high school diploma, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), background check, and ability to lift 20+ pounds.

Formación

• Computer or tablet literacy preferred.
• Able to lift 20+ pounds.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management Patrol in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control activities, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document security-related activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and activity records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, clear communication, and consistent adherence to Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
