As a Security Officer Full Time Access Integrity in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming, professional environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support security-related incident response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to technology-focused facilities by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues, unusual activity, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
