Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access discrepancies or suspicious activity.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate security-related reports and documentation and enforce site access requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access discrepancies or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing clear directions, enforcing site access requirements, and completing accurate security-related reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
