Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Access Coordination in Ocala, FL. You will safeguard clients, monitor access points, and support a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location, while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time night shift pays $17.00 per hour with a schedule from Mon to Sun 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM. Minimums include being 18+, HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and license requirements where applicable.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as required, helping to deter unauthorized access and support controlled movement throughout the facility.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
