Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Point Monitor in Ocala, FL. You will serve and safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain professional presence at a logistics and distribution site.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule (Wed 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Thu 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) and opportunities to grow with our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Backgrounds considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law, licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and delivery personnel.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and manage entry logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and security concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas and perimeters.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly flow of personnel, vehicles, shipments, and deliveries while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
