Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Jacksonville, FL. You will monitor and patrol the facility, provide customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

Minimum requirements include at least 6 months security experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screening may be required. Shift pattern runs day to night on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and delivery-related concerns calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, drivers, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
