Allied Universal in Paulsboro, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access and support site operations at a chemical/petrochemical location.

This role requires at least 2 years security experience, a TSA-issued TWIC, and a valid driver's license. You will provide professional customer service, conduct patrols, and document activities while representing Allied Universal’s inclusive, safety-first culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by executing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents calmly, reporting observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Document daily activities, visitor and contractor access, incidents, and irregular conditions in reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, visitor and contractor access, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and log entries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
